Bird Ringing Program

The Ringer's Program is available in 2 formats: Excel file and Access 97. Either may be downloaded to use for entering ringing data

Note that only users with a valid copy of Access 97 (or higher) will be able to use this program.
Save the zipped file to C:\ on your hard drive, run the application, choose 'Unzip' and it will unzip the files into a directory called SAFRING. Then open the program "SafringV1_1". Under c:\SAFRING\documents will be a Word document explaining how to use the program. Note, for instance, that you must enter your User Info and issue your rings first before you can enter ringing data.

SAFRING Gap Analysis

The SAFRING Gap Analysis is a Word document showing the ringing effort by quarter-degree grid cell for the decades 1950 - 2008. The SAFRING data is also applied to the range expansion of the Grey-headed Sparrow. Note this is a large file as it contains colour coded maps.
