This project involves the ringing and wing tagging of African White-backed vultures on the De Beers Group of companies Nature Reserve, Dronfield, just north of Kimberley, in the Northern Cape Province. This is under the auspices of the EWT's Savannah Raptor Project managed by Dr. Gareth Tate of the EWT. They provide the tags for this and other ringing projects in southern africa. All these tags have been fitted to African White-backed Vulture fledglings.
